How long have you been doing this?
Over 18 years now!

How did you get involved in this career?
I was speaking at a church that Evelyn Miller went to and after the service I asked her what she thought of real estate. She looked at me, and asked “Are you thinking of getting into real estate? You would do well at it! If you decide to get your license, let me know and I will help you get started!” And she did just that! What an incredible blessing and partner she was. The first week I got my license, she put my name along with hers on all of her listings, and it just went from there! Everytime one of her listings sold, this meant I got half of the listing commission, and I learned so much from her expertise and example. Big steps to follow in!

What is your funniest story that happened in your career?
The time I went to see a house to value for a bank sale, and just after I entered, a nice fellow emerged from the shower in only his towel! Wasn’t funny at the time, but looking back it was pretty funny.

If you had the opportunity to tell someone one piece of advice. What would it be?
Take care of your family - they are important because they are YOUR family.

What do you do in your spare time?
We love playing the board game Settlers of Catan. Best game ever.

Who would you say is your role model?
I have a few - Mark Faris for real estate, John Piper for preaching, Truett Cathy (Chick-fil-A) for business leader, Jesus Christ for best person (and God) ever. And many others too, of course.

What is your favourite sport and team?
Toronto Maple Leafs - Enough said! I am hoping this is the year!

What is one question you would really like to be asked and what is your answer?
What is something you want to do in this life?
I want to get my pilots license and sell private jets. Someday!
